  • No, "tarded" is not cute. OP is far too immature to be a parent. OP probably wanted to cause controversy - otherwise, what is the purpose of posting "Anon" on a simple non-controversial question about naming an infant?

  • Dante is pronounced as Anon stated. And Yes, it's Italian - so am I. I'm Gianna. As for a middle name to go with Dante, it's hard to say without knowing the last name. It can sound truly stupid to use ethnic/cultural names with a last name like "Smith" ... so if that were the case, you could tone it down using a more Americanized middle name.
