No Birthday Invites ... Is it Okay?

Having an impromptu birthday party for my son this weekend. I don't think there is enough time to get invitations out and wait for RSVPs. I also don't have all the e-mail addresses to do an e-vite. Would it be tacky just to call the parents and verbally invite to a birthday party at this point?

  • A phone call is awesome. That way you don't have to wonder if they got the invite, and you don't have to invite the whole class! (if your school has that stupid rule)

  • No, you just might have a difficult time of people coming... only because they might not be able to come because of schedules... Hope you have the crowd you want! GL!

  • Last year they went for that - we totally bribed them not to have birthday parties. This year however, one had a birthday party that was a lot of fun, my other one said he definitely wanted a party!

    Thanks for everyone's help!!
