  • You want negative calorie foods - ones that are so low, you burn the calories in them just in the process of preparing and eating them.
    Negative Calorie Vegetables
    Asparagus
    Beet Root
    Broccoli
    Cabbage
    Carrot
    Cauliflower
    Celery Chicory
    Hot Chili
    Cucumber
    Garden cress
    Garlic
    Green Beans
    Lettuce
    Onion
    Radish
    Spinach
    Turnip
    Zucchini
    Negative Calorie Fruits
    Apple
    Blueberries
    Cantaloupe
    Cranberry
    Grapefruit Honeydew
    Lemon/Lime
    Mango
    Orange

  • I'll probably get bashed for saying this but whatever.
I used to much on lettuce when I was pregnant. I couldn't keep much else down. Maybe make up a veggie tray or even just cut them up and put in ziplock bags for easy access.

  • It IS hard not to have ranch with carrots!! LOL. I love ranch with carrots. I'd say pick a low cal ranch you can dip but make sure to measure it so that you know exactly how many calories you are consuming. You don't need much ranch to get the flavor.

    Good luck!

  • How about popcorn (air popped or the one that is an "automatic" Whirlypop (eg. Cuisinart popcorn popper)? Sprinkle a bit of Molly McButter on it and eat! That is one of my favorites!

  • I hope you have the same small frame that I do, because 115 lbs looks bad unless you are smallboned and short. On another note, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a great snack and low cal.

  • If you're like me, all those veggies, won't cut it. I get hungry late at night sometimes, and I have to have something a little more satisfying than fruit or veggies. Actually, usually if I just drink some milk before I go to bed, it fills me enough to go to sleep without feeling the pangs.

  • There are foods that you can eat late at night but won't add a whole bunch of calories on for doing so. They would be cereals that taste good but contain some form of fiber, ice cream, hot air popcorn with butter but not saturated, nuts, etc.
