It'll be my 1st cooking. We're thinking of inviting another couple. Can we just do a Chicken?? Would one be enough? And if we decided to invite two couples, would we need two chickens, just to be safe?
I'll also do: cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, rolls, corn, stuffing and maybe a salad.
Apptizers would be shrimp and cocktail sauce, spinach dip w/pumpernickel bread, and dessert will be mini pecan pies and maybe an apple pie.

  • Why not just cook a small turkey. Why the chicken? Either way, it sounds yummy.

  • sounds good...if you weren't wanting to do a turkey, you could do a small ham? That seems a little easier to gauge how big to buy. We do ham on thanksgiving sometimes. The rest sounds awesome...but wheres your sweet potatoes! lol...I'm so country

  • lol. We're not fans of turkey. Ham, yes so we may consider that. and Kabbot, I had sweet potatoes on the list, but our guests are Korean, and I'm thinking that they might be too sweet, since they're used to more mild Korean sweet potatoes.

  • What about doing cornish game hens? One per person. It's a little more festive than chicken, but not as big a PITA as a turkey.
