Can you play regular DVD's on a Blue Ray player, or do we need to keep our DVD player to play those?

We don't have one, but are considering getting one in a few months.

  • Blu-Ray "up-plays" regular DVDs.

  • Technically yes. Any you have that were made prior to '03 or so will not play on a blu ray.

  • Yep my bluray plays my reg DVDS and they look better!!!! LOVE MY BLU RAY!!!!!!!
