My hands get very dry, cracked, and red bumps all over.

Any ideas on what to use to make it go away? Regular lotion stings and doesn't seem to help. Also my daughter has super dry skin. Feels so rough and scaly. Lotion is making her break out. Any ideas for lotions that are good for sensitive skin?

  • Palmer's Cocoa Butter. Also, you can put your lotion on at night, then put cotton gloves on your hands and sleep with them on. It's annoying, but it really works.

  • Idk if it'll sting or not but raw 100% shea butter works wonders for your skin, I don't think it would hurt because (if you buy it in its purest form) it has no added chemicals. It's pretty cheap and lasts a long time, it works great to seal in the moisture in your hair too :) just don't use too much.

  • Be careful of the dish soap you use and other cleaners. Wear rubber gloves. And, follow suggestions above.

  • the red bumps are infection from rubbing it on wrong. you need to rub it on with the way the hair grows - not against it... and try the vasoline stuff - i hate it but it works so well. generics are the same with petro jelly.
