If having family photos done, what colors are most flattering?

  • I always really like the white with denim. Red is nice too. One year we did deep purple, and those turned out really nice too.

  • I think that has a lot of determining factors, such as the background you chose to use, if they are indoor or outdoor. When I worked doing church photography, we always told people to wear bright colors, but I still like the appearance of either everyone wearing a white shirt of some sort. I would, however, not to try to match everyone in a color such as red, because there are too many shades of that color.

  • Whatever you like. White always looks great, but colors are fine. I saw a family and everyone had black shirts and jeans. It cam out wonderful.

  • I like misses nick's suggestion - purple is way IN and if you dressed everyone picking up a tad of purple (not all in total purple), that would look amazing.
