"non believers" & tree toppers

Not trying to start a debate so save the crap for another post....

If you don't believe in God and celebrate Christmas and have a tree...what is your topper? If you use an angel or star, why? What does the angel or star mean to you?

  • I put up a tree which doubles as a Yule tree & a Christmas tree. And we use a star because it's neutral.

  • There's a star on top of mine. It doesn't mean anything to me, just thought it was pretty.
My mom's tree is decorated in all snowmen decorations, so she has a snowman topper.

That's awesome! Is it an actually a tree topper? or did you just use it as one? Where did you find it? My sister would LOVE something like that!

  • We celebrate Yule. We have a star because that's what we found that matched the tree the year Santa's bi-plane died.

  • A star. For me it reminds me of the beauty of the skies....of our world. And that we are all from the same energy....the energy that created our world, our solar system, the Universe. It's a guiding star, that always leads me home and to my heart. And the tree represents strength and wisdom, and that through all kinds of weather we can survive with the love from family and friends around me.
