when did you change your child to forward facing?

i did it at 1 yr and about 3months. she is 21months now.

  • I changed both of my kids at about 9 months... Their doctor said when their feet are touching the seat and their knees are starting to bend then it is time to change them around as long as they can sit on their own and hold their heads

  • When they were about 18 months. After the ice was off the roads and "rear-end" season was over.

  • My son will be 14 months old next week and he is still rear facing. He will remain rear facing until he outgrows the limits of his car seat.

    @snewothe question is WHEN did you change them. if they are still rearfacing the questions does not apply to you.
