Do you walk or drive?

What do you consider walking distance, for you, and when would you rather drive.

example: I consider anything under a half hour walk, my walking distance, if it'll take longer I'd rather drive.

  • We haven't had a car since my husband was killed by a drunk driver. I walk everywhere (small town, no public transportation). If it's too far to walk, it's too far to go.

  • Depends on the weather. In the winter it's usually to cold for the kids to be outside more then a half hour. In the summer I will walk two hours or more.
We only have one car. My husband often walks to work (about 30min) so that I can have the car with the kids if I need it.

  • We do not live within a half hour walk of anything so we have to drive. It take me about an hour to get to most places. My daughters school is about a 10 minute drive. I would love to walk places but it is just not an option where we live.

  • Drive.. it takes me at least 15 min to get out of my addition, and then even when I get out, there is nothing close.
