oil stains on cloathes

How can i get oil stains out of cloatheing?Or is it un savealbe?

  • When I was in HS I got a black car-grease stain on a white skirt. An elderly woman I knew took it right away and smeared crisco into it. Then she washed it out with soap.... can't remember if it was laundry soap or dish soap, but she did it over the sink. It came right out! Let me know if it works....

  • with the soap scrub area with a tooth brush then was in warm water.

  • put dishsoap directly on the oil. Let is soak. Launder as normal.
