How do i get my baby to sleep through the night?

My daughter is 16 months! -and she still wakes up at night for a bottle. Ive tried everything. Pediatrician said to try water... she likes it. We've tried lowering the ounces... she will scream til she gets more. I mean we have tried the most obvious but nothing will budge.. please we need our sleep!

  • What we did with DS was we would put off the bottle for another 10-20 min before we would get up and feed it to him and then keep doing that until he would sleep through the night. Downfall is it will take a month or 2 until you will be able to get a full night of sleep.

  • We had this problem with DS. Eventually we would go in, rub his back, offer a paci, (and make sure he was ok in general) and then let him cry it out. After about 3 or 4 nights he was sleeping without waking.

  • Friends of ours let their son cry it out. It took 3 nights

  • i always put a sippy cup at the corner of the crib for her to drink in the middle of the night if she woke up. i showed her where it is before she goes to sleep. so she knows it's there if she wakes up.
otherwise do the cry it out method. your baby is not a baby anymore, but a toddler. i think she will get over pretty quickly.
