growing pains?

My 6 year old has been complaining his leg hurts, in the shin area, for most of the day. He didn't hurt it and it doesn't look bruised or like there is anything wrong.
Is he too young for growing pains?

  • My daughter is 3 1/2 and already complains about growing pains....as soon as they can recognize an "ache"...and it's during a "growth spurt", you can rest assured that it's growing pains =(

  • NO, he is not too young. My son had really bad growing pains when he was 9 and 10, but all kids are different. Shins and knees are common areas for kids to have issues.
