Mucus and a vaporizor

I always turn on a vaporisor when the kids have a cold. Should I do this if the baby already has a mucus cough going on. He has benadryl and delsum in his system but he just looks miserable. He is breathing with his mouth open and he is a sad sight.

  • Personally, I'd lay off the drugs and try the cool mist humidifier and some vapors.

  • According to my son's pulmologist, cool mist ONLY, for every cold. It helps loosen the mucus.
