Does anyone know where I can get "cute" or decent blue jeans that are NOT stretch? And are NOT low riders? Or mid riders? Please HELP! Do they make such blue Jeans anymore?

I am a size 14 or 16. I like average length jeans, light color or dark color. I just can't find any that are not stretch or low riders.

  • Check out your local resale shops. I frequent them often for my self and my kids. I don't like the low rise jeans, or the stretch jeans either. I always find a really good selection--some even have the tags still on them. I've gotten brand new jeans for $2.00. I've even gotten my kids very nice name brand jeans, like American Eagle and Abercrombie and Fitch. You will love resale shops. You can find so many neat things there. Check it out.

  • I know what you mean! I am thirty-one, and can no longer find "normal" jeans, LOL. Like a pp suggested, check local consignment shops. I love Lands' End (catalog co.), St. John's Bay (JC Penney), and (classic) Gap styles. My size/body-type is "curvy athletic" size 14/16Short (28" inseam)....those jeans fit and look the best, I find. • FG has classic jeans that are not stretch. Mid Rise should be at belly button height. these jeans are that and straight legs. They are not my favorite because I'm too curvey. But the best thing to do is plan a day to go try on Jeans. Ugh! At your local Mall and local Dept stores. Also make sure you try on every pair of jeans that you are going to purchase. The same size and style doesn't mean they will fit.
