Homemade or store bought pasta sauce?

What do you use? Favorite brands?

I usually try to make mine homemade, but when I am in a pinch for time I buy Ragu!

  • Homemade! Whenever I make it, I try to make double or triple what I need. Then I freeze the extra. I probably have 6 gallons of pasta sauce in my deep freeze.

  • ALWAYS homemade. I make a big batch, and I freeze it in portions the right size for our family. Use freezer bags, lay them flat in the freezer (in a stack is fine), and they easily thaw when you need to use them.
    I'm a big fan of knowing what's in your food, and too many sauces have HCFS and preservatives and other things we try not to ingest.
