Adrian Vs. Braylen (: Finally down to the top two!..but here's my question..

My husbands name starts w/ a B, & mine and L. We have a daughter whose name starts w/ a B, an L, & an A... So I wanted another A name, since this is our last child!

The only boy A name that I've really come to like is Adrian..& its up against a name i've always liked for a long time now which is Braylen. If we go w/ the B name.. we will have three B's, two L's, and one A.. not a big deal, but i thought itd be cool if there were two of every letter, just because. haha!

Also, my daughter whos name starts w/ an A was born in March, & this baby is due on her birthday, so I thought itd be cute for the A name..

I know those are small silly things, but I just need to decide!!

His middle name is going to be Eugene, after his father, many of you may have seen where I posted how I hate to pass that name down, haha, but decided to let my husband have his glory..

So theres Adrian Eugene or theres Braylen Eugene... I am going for unique.. & I dont know any of those two names being used around where I live... Any suggestions? (:

  • I like Adrian a lot. It is cute and sophisticated, and isn't over-used. Braylen sounds really "trendy" to me (along the lines of Jaylen, Kaylynn, Rylen).

  • I automatically assumed Adrian was a girl until I read the rest of your post. Braylen sounds more masculine to me.

  • I like Adrian better, especially with the reasons you've listed for choosing that name.

  • Adrian Eugene.

But, if you really want to, you could give him two middle names -- Adrian Eugene Braylen. Of course, you can also just ignore that since it's another choice to wrestle with.

  • Adrian i the boy spelling of the unisex name! Adrienne is the "girl" spelling & Braylen I always thought was strictly boy, but have been told its a unisex name as well! I don't really like unisex names, or at least I thought I didnt, haha.
