Has anyone else experienced a head spinning feeling while preg thats not like the usual?

ok, so twice now i have been sitting down watching tv (shortly after snacks) and all the sudden my head feels dizzy like i just stepped off a tilt-a-whirl for a few min. Now with my other two kids i got light headed and stuff when i stood up or took hot showers but this is totally different. has nyone else experienced this or something like it?

  • It is normal. Just take it easy. Talk to your doctor, you could possibly need more iron.

  • With my first baby I felt dizzy while walking on the street. That was my first encounter with the equlibrium issue while being pregnant. My gyno/obstretrician told me that if I experienced it while walking again that I should sit for a few minutes until it passes. I looked at him strangely because I couldn't visualize myself sitting on the sidewalk wherever I just happened to be at that moment. Well apparently it can happen during pregnancy.

  • i think its normal-i have had bouts where i get this terrible ringing in my ears and feel dizzy and lightheaded and my doc says its just all part of it and every woman's body reacts to pregnancy differently--its still annoying though!

  • All need to worry. Move slower, especially when raising up from a sitting position. Since I am not a doctor, double check with your your OB/GYN. Make sure your blood pressure is ok.
