  • You can call around to your local churches. Most heating assistance programs are drained, already. Can you stay with someone until you can pay??

  • Look in the local white pages. Most counties have heating assistance. My heart goes out to you. Our boiler broke down last night & we were without heat for 12 hours (21 degrees outside & the house went down to 52). It's just starting to warm up now. Hope it works out for you.

  • Not sure is HEAP works for oil heat. Can you try calling the company you use and see if they can advance you oil??? You never know until you ask! Do you have a wood burning stove or fireplace to light a fire.

  • Yeah Heap will give you up to a certain dollar amount for propane or oil. And pay off some of your old bill. Where do you live? I can try to find the number for you. It is an income based thing, the less you make the more they help. It runs October thru March I believe. It is a really nice thing if you qualify.
