Do you trust your doctor(s)?

I have a couple of doctors that I trust very much. They have earned my respect and trust. But, I never trusted the doctor my parents had. They are both gone now but I was wondering about other people.

  • I trust MY doctors 100%. I chose those doctors because I had complete confidence in their knowledge and experience and I agreed with their views.
I feel very sorry for the people who feel they can't trust their doctors.

  • NOPE!! One of my Doctors told me I had breast cancer after a manual exam...and after my telling him fybrocystic breast tissue ran in my family on my Mothers side, and that I had gotten several cysts myself in the past..he felt my breasts, walked out, came back about 15 minutes later declaring I had cancer and setting me up for a mammogram and biopsy at the nearest hospital..I waited two days for that appointment and had two sleepless nights because of that ratbastard. The mamogram showed cysts, and no biopsy was required. Besides him..every Doctor I have ever went to for migraines has prescribed something that is dangerous for people with heart issues...I have high BP and arrythmias..I think all Doctors are the spawn of Satan and are trying to kill me, lol

  • i only trust holistic doctors. unfortunately insurance doesn't cover them because they cure diseases naturally that supposedly can't be cured

  • I don't trust any matter how good they are or whatever, they don't always know what's right for me or my Son or my Husband. They all have a different idea about things because no amount of school is going to teach them everything they need to know or the correct knowledge. That's just the way it is.

  • some I have, some I have not.

My neurologist who treats my cluster headaches I am literally trusting with my life and consider her a hero and a friend. I also had a dr. once (sadly he retired) who once when I was too weak to move came out to our truck, took my blood pressure, made silly faces at my kids and then filled out the admitting papers to the local hospital

.... I've also been abused and lied to by both doctors, dentists, and surgeons.

  • I trust my OB without conviction. My primary doctor I did too pretty much, but he moved his practice out of town and I'm still deciding if I want to continue using this other doctor I started seeing. Not sure yet if I trust, too soon to tell.
