  • 44,000 in school debt. I stayed home (my dh worked) while getting BA. I am already 10,000 for grad school. I only qualified for a few grants b/c of my dh's income was always too much. Grad school, you can't use grants to pay for it.

  • I'm at about 25-30G in student loans...Each semester I got the loans I got at least 1G directly in my pocket, which helped with other bills. I worked full-time, while going to school full-time as well...

  • I haven't gotten into any debt yet, thankfully. I am finishing my second year. So far everything has been taken care of, and we have been living within our means, which can be hard. But next year I am taking out a hefty loan to pay for the rest of my time because my SO wants to buy a condo, so, there goes being debt free.

  • Graduated debt free in 3 1/2 years

I worked all through college, worked on my breaks, used money I had saved while in high school, did not have a car, etc. I had a little bit of help from my parents - a few thousand. I was also single - no family.
