One is larger than the other....is that normal?

I've noticed that the areola around one nipple is a lot larger than than around the other nipple..is that normal? I'm 21 wks pregnant.

  • yes it is normal. Pregnancy does strange things to a body. should not effect breastfeeding at all.

  • Don't go around measuring the two sides of your body --we're not symmetrical. Your left ear is probably a slightly different size from your right...

    We also don't develop both sides at the same time or speed. Just like in puberty. Just like your baby, actually...
