Christmas morning breakfast is in the oven!

I have a quiche in the oven for Christmas morning. I will freeze it and plop it in the oven before we open presents and it will be ready just in time.

Do you plan ahead for breakfast that morning?

I never did, but my sister raved about how much easier it is when it is all done in advance... and she was right.

If so, what are you having?

  • Last year I did cinnamon rolls. You can do everything up to actually baking them the day before. We had fresh homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast Christmas morning. I am think of doing a baked french toast this year. Put it together the night before and bake it that morning. It does help.

  • I make a pie crust and put it in a regular pie pan. Then mix eggs and milk, salt and pepper and whip them. I add ham and sauteed onions and then pour the egg mix over the top. I add a cup of cheese and bake. It is super yummy and easy.
