how blocked do your arteries have to be for a dr to perform a bypass?

we just found out my father in law has 95%blockage in one artery, and between 60-80% in the others. we know he will have surgery this next week, but we don't know what kind yet.

  • Those numbers sound about typical. It's around there when you would notice issues making you seek medical care. Less than 50% blockage and you probably would not feel it. You would have raised blood numbers though and that's when the Dr puts you on meds
