  • Yes, I do. I've kept one since I was a child, and it's been especially helpful in dealing with my feelings since my husband was killed.

  • I've been keeping one since I was 15, about 35 years ago. I dont' write in it as much as I used to but I still have one.

  • I do also, I have kept it for years, I have also made letter for my grown kids to be read only after my death.

  • I do. I've kept a journal since I was 15. (I don't nevessarily have entries for every single day though, which is technically what "journal" means). I recently switched from writing it by hand to typing it and saving it electronically. I also cut and paste in emails I've sent and received as well as journal posts I write here on CafeMom.

  • older, I am also thinking of starting a series of letters to Felipe - but not for after my death so much as just after he's grown up.

Also, I wanted to add, your audience makes a difference in how you write. Sometimes I like my writing better in a blog or here on CafeMom, b/c it can tend to be clearer. But I am obviously much more honest when I write only for myself. So I like having both, and combining them.

  • I keep a journal for both my kids, but haven't written in them in MONTHS :(

  • No, but then I'd be afraid someone would read it. I don't even do a journal online.
