  • It was in Gods plans

I HATE that saying. It was said to me so many times by nurses OR

    It was meant to happen

  • I don't think that Mom's who have lost a child will find much humor in this.

  • well atleast you dont have to wake up to a screaming baby every 3 hours.

  • I think it is best not to say anything at all except, "I am here if you need anything at all!"

I've lost 6, and 2 of those were late-term. Nothing a person can say is soothing, and most of it just makes it worse.

  • she looks so peacfull. a friend of the family said that at my nieces funeral. and my aunt started crying. she said that she was peaceful when she was sleeping now there was no peace bc she wasnt there.

  • You just shouldn't say anything except "I'm so sorry, and I'm here for you." Things like some of those listed above, are just insensitive.

  • I dont really have a "saying" but my friend told me about a friend's funeral for her baby and one of the attendees brought her baby along. She was bouncing the baby on her knees saying WEEEEEEEE! WEEEEEEE! I couldnt imagine how awkward and miserable that made the mom feel who just lost her daughter and couldnt experience that joy.
