How old before you'd put a TV in your child's bedroom?

  • I initially thought 15, but for a responsible child, I'd say 13 is probably fine.

  • my kids are 16, 14, and 10 and NONE are permitted a tv in their rooms.

    they may have a tv in their rooms when they are home for the summer from college, or when they live on their own.

  • When she moves into a college dorm, she may have a tv in her room if she'd like.

  • My children have always had TVs in their room. And no, they don't hide out in their rooms all day, we have tons of family time.

  • In hindsight - never - it was the beginning of the end of the closeness I had with both of my children when we put TVs in their rooms.
