Trying to lose weight...(kinda long)

I have always been thin until I became pregnant (4th time but 1st surviving child), I gained 50 pounds, while watching what I was eating on a strict diet but I was bedridden for the whole pregnancy due to it being high risk. Since then I've been up and down, and all my blood work is normal, no diabetes no hbp, normal cholesterol, but due to a medical issue I don't want to disclose, I need certain medication that makes me gain weight, I started this medication less than a year ago. I have not gained weight because I have been dieting and excercising, but have not lost weight either. They say if I wasn't doing all this I would be gaining. I'm doing all the right things with no luck, but I absolutely can not stop this medication. I don't know what I'm asking, just anyone else going through this?

  • Talk to your dr or a nutritionist about what you should be eating and how much excercise you should be getting to maintain your weight. Also ask your Dr if there are alternative medications for what you are taking. If your taking a medication with a steroid in it your gonna have weight gain problems. But that dosnt mean that there are not alternatives to this medication.
