  • I do every day, and Christmas will be no different. I don't know anyone personally over there atm, but that doesn't matter. They are there without their families so that I can be here safely with mine.

If you have a loved one over there, please tell him or her that I appreciate what they are doing very much.

May God bless them, keep them safe, and bring them all home safely to their families as soon as possible.

  • I think about them every single day. Marines that I served with while in the Navy are over there; I want them home. I also know what it's like to be deployed away from home on Christmas. Seven years ago, I was in Dubai while my family was celebrating the holidays without me. It sucked and I missed them A LOT.

  • They give up a lot, as do their families, to keep us safe. Righ now, I have no one in my family who is deployed, but have in the past, so my heart always goes out to them on holidays.
