my dd's has fine curly hair .. its just up to jer shoulders and she hates when i brush it.. it always gets tangled in the back (really badly) i really dont wanna cut it for her! is there anything that i can use to make it stop.. i am using johnsoon's baby shampoo now.. anyone else with the same problem?

  • did you try a spray in detangler before you comb it? (and always comb curly hair....don't brush). loreal kids makes a good one, but there are lots of different brands. they work great on wet or dry hair.

  • I am not going though it but my friend did.......they have some stuff at walmart for tangles (for babys) and it seems to help .

  • use a detangler spray, and a comb!! at night when she goes to bed, put it in a braid,so theres less fuss in the morning

  • I use conditioner on my 2 year old daughter. She uses the same shampoo we do. Then spray in detangler with a comb.

  • my kids and I all have naturally curly hair. It helps a lot if you spray with water to dampen and use a wide tooth comb, and slowly pick through it. I started using conditioner on my kids while they were still babies and it helps to prevent tangles.

  • My friend with a little curly headed baby raved about California baby conditioner. So much in fact that when she had to move out of the country I packed my suitcase full of it for her when I visited her! Try that, I know whole foods sold it but you can find it on line I am sure.
