Kegels and Cesarean?

Okay, one more Cesarean question.

If you did kegels during your pregnancy, but still had to get a Cesarean, did it help with any kind of weight loss? Did they still do what they were supposed to do? (Not sure if I worded that right.)

  • Kegels aren't a weight loss exercise.
They are to tone the pelvic floor muscles.

  • Kegels really won't help much with weight loss. They will, however, help your uterus get back to pre-pregnancy size, and help with bladder control. They will also help between the sheets!

  • They are pretty much useless for a c-section but you'll have better bladder control!

  • Heh, thanks. As I said in my other question, I had my daughter four years ago, so I don't need to worry about my uterus anymore. =)
