Debbie Meyer Green Bags

Have you ever used these green bags? They supposedly keep foods fresher longer. I was just curious if they work because I hate it when the fruit I buy goes to waste.

  • My daughter did an experiement w/these for her school science fair two years ago. They kept the fruit fresh 1-2 days longer than without them. Hardly worth the money you spend on them for a day.

  • I tried them and didn't think they were worth it. We just wash our fruit & veggies/dry very well then keep in a cool area. Most of my fruit will last 7-10 days before starting to go bad.

  • I haven't bought the particular brand but did pick up a pack at the grocery store. I wish I could remember which brand but can not. Something common like Reynolds or something though. :) Anyhow, I was actually very impressed!
