Why can't you change the cat's litter box while pregnant?

  • toxoplasmosis. It can be very bad but if you HAVE to change a litter box because there is no one else to do it, wear gloves, and wash well after wards. Also, you might want to wear a mask so you don't breathe in any of the dust.

  • because of toxoplasmosis i changed it when i was pregnant but i wore a dust mask and gloves and washed my hands as soon as i was done.
