  • Exercise is the other half. If he's only just starting to eat properly, and his diabetes is not yet under control, he is not going to have more energy until he starts burning off some of that sugar.

And, is he REALLY eating properly... or just 'better' on a scale of not good to truly horrible?

P.S. keep him away from ALL artificial sweeteners... they're really hard on a body, offer no nutrition at all, and make cravings for sweetened foods and drinks much, much stronger

  • If you look on web md this are the symptoms of the diabetis and the only thing you can do is be patitient and help him to get treatment, my grandad was diabetic and still had a kid at 52 what he used to do is to drink a smoothie made out of aloe vera and water he said it tasted horrible but that even help him to reduce his blood sugar and did not need to take as much pills as his sister who had diabetes too and she wasted away in 3 months she never wanted to take the smoothie and later on when his younger brother got the disease he did took the aloe vera and he is still alive and well

  • Being diagnosed with a chronic disease like diabetes can be a life altering event. He might be going through a bit of depression and being overwhelmed with the idea that from now on he has to live his life differently, he has to watch what he eats, take care of himself, see the doc on a regular basis. you dont mention if he is on meds for it, but that can be a pain in the a** just in itself. I have been diabetic for 12 years now and it still gets to me sometimes. Go easy on him and have him talk to his doc about his lethargy.
