When did you often first find your baby kicking?

I think my little is kicking late at night before bed because that's the only real time of the day I relax. Lately, because of the holiday shopping, I've been walking around more than usual. I think that's probably why being a first time Mom that I didn't feel her first kicks until two nights ago. What about you?

  • just remind yourself that kicks arent always what you think would be kicks. it could be lil flutters as well. i was worried when i didnt feel anything either. when i asked my doc she said not everyone will feel their baby kick til after 20 wks. something up about having less space will make them kick. congrats though. im still waiting on my lil one couple wks away.

  • I don't remember exactly but sometime around 13-14 weeks I would get these funny feelings late at night like around 1-2 am. I think it took me a while to realize it because I pulled a lot of all-nighters for school & of course I didn't always eat when my tummy wanted food.

  • Same here. Later on I discovered if I ate or drank chocolate or caffeine, or ate spicey foods, or had my belly up against something (it becomes unavoidable in your last trimester quite frequently, like when you are doing dishes or laundry, etc.) I got a nice kick. Congrats on your pregnancy :)

  • I didn't start feeling kicks until about 19 weeks. Certain foods and drink would really get him going.
