  • Sometime between 4 and 6 mos for my kids. My oldest was my earliest sitter, at just shy of 4 mos, my middle was a little after he turned 6 mos, and my last at around 5 mos (my records of his milestones aren't as good as the other kids' LOL)

  • Sounds like your child is on the right track. Think of developmental milestones as more of a "window of opportunity" than a specific age/target. Children all develop differently. My son was 5.5 months when he was sitting unassisted, he is now 6 months and is still a little wobbly and topples over occassionally. Lots of practice is good for them to develop and mature those skills.

  • Troy Jr. started at about 4 1/2 months but it wasn't until about 61/2 when he could do it unassisted.
