  • I put a huge decorative rug on top of my wore living room carpet.

  • Get the Woolite Scrub Stick (I think it's called stick...Dr. maybe?) Anyway, it's the scrub brush and the cleaner on a rake type handle that you put together. You scrub and fluff up the individual fibers so it looks nice and newer. Smells good, too!

  • I'd say put an area rug over it. That can add a lot of color and flair to a room.

  • Go buy a remnant. You can find one as big or small as you need at virtually any carpet place. Lay that on top of the old carpet. I'm tell you this because before a friend told me to do it, I never thought of it. It looks great!
