Should I wake up my son to see the lunar eclipse?

He is 4. We have to get up at 6:00 the next morning to go to work and school. He is really into the moon, its phases etc. We would probably want to get up around 2:45 or 3:00 and watch til it turns red around 3:15.

What do you think?

  • IIRC, it will be about 10 years before there will be another one visible from the US. Definitely get him up for it and make an event of it, so he'll remember it later.
