Do Kegels Really Work?

After three kids, things are a bit too roomy if you get my drift.

Have kegels worked for you?

If so, how many a day and how long did it take to notice results?

  • I do 10 sets 10 times a day. I hold them for 10 slow seconds. I usually do them when I pee. I started noticing around a week later. My hubby noticed too. He HIGHLY recommends doing them. Our sex life has been great since I've tightened up.

  • I do them off and on all day. Not only do they tighten the pelvic floor, they increase blood flow to your "area" and that, my dear, makes sex feel better. :)

  • I used to get a subscription of Self magazine and it said to do 10-15 reps and hold for a count of 10 each rep. I'm 18 and have only had one kid so I don't really know how long it takes to get results but I do think that kegels helped with my delivery. I didn't rip and after my delivery I did them too which helped releive the pain.
