  • here is how vegetables are graded. fresh vegies are an A, frozen are a B, Canned are a D, and grandmas green bean casserole is an F

  • frozen vegetables retain more of their nutrients and do not have the added sodium, preservatives, and corn syrups that most canned veggies do, so I try to use frozen over cans as much as possible. Fresh is even better :-)

  • Frozen peas, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach.
    Canned green beans.
    Fresh carrots.
