HUBBY'S COOKING!!!

So, a few months back, hubby made some white beans. They were good, but ended up getting us ALL sick. We haven't had beans since. My oldest son, 14, and I constantly pick on hubby for his beans which ended us all in bed and sick the next day. It's actually quite funny when we get started on him. Well, DS slept out last night, and I slept in later this morning. I wake up to find a pot of red beans cooking for tonights dinner. I want so bad to call DS and warn him about tonights dinner, but I can't wait to see what he's going to say when his plate is fixed. :) How can I get out of supper tonight? Can I just say I'm not feeling well, not hungry, or just eat a big snack before that way I can't eat dinner?

lol, this is horrible, but I am pretty afraid of his beans again!!

  • If my husband tried to cook we wouldn't have a place to live. He'll burn down the place

  • I would eat a snack before dinner or the other choose would be to make something to go along with it like cornbread and eat more of that stuff and very little beans. Also make sure they are cooked all the way and that might help with eating them.

  • I would pretend to be feeling sick that way you can get out of possibly being REALLY sick again :)

Yes, I'm being dead serious. And trust me, I cook EVERY SINGLE night and don't mind that one bit. I am actually happier cooking our meals. No need to be rude with the "be grateful".
