does bacon fat grease work just as good as lard?

  • Not in Everything but, it works really good with alot of vegetables- Like: Corn, Green Beans, Cabbage-

  • Depends what you're using it for. Lard has no flavor, bacon grease tastes like bacon and is excellent for a lot of savory foods. If you put what you're wanting to use it for that would really help.

  • I can honestly say that I have never used lard. I do agree, however, that bacon grease will flavor the food with bacon.
