Does anyone have a dog walker?

My husband & I both have very busy work schedules. We walk our dog every morning before work but I want to hire a walker so he can get out during the day.
My husband says he thinks it may be an unneccesary expense.

What is a fair price for a dog walker to charge?
Do I give them a key to my house & they just come in get the dog & leave?

  • You might see some prices at care.com They have several categories of jobs/people looking for jobs and one is pet sitting.  Use the pulldown to see the categories and then your zipcode. I wouldn't like the idea of giving anyone a key. JMO

  • I second checking out care.com, I've used that site quite a few times with good results.

  • Do you reaize what day and time we are living in? Do you really want to give someone access to your home? I walk our dog, the exercise wouldn't hurt you either.
