  • You may need to google your city, and restaurants open on xmas day.... I looked but it lists for all different cities, and I don't know where you are. Most Chinese restaurants are open on xmas day.. GL ( Sounds like a good idea to me,lol)

  • I've tried Googling, but it doesn't work. Lots of places that say they're open on the mainland aren't open in Hawaii. Good example : PF Changs. Everywhere on the mainland says theyre open Christmas Day and the one here is not. So I figure to get a rather basic list and then call my local restaurants IF I have them... Which most, I do not. =)

Pretty much looking for the norms. Olive Garden, Italian places, Burger joints, Pancakes, etc. Anything fairly common!

I won't eat chinese here. It's loaded with msg. Thanks!

  • Anything near a major interstate exit will probably be open - around here that means McDonald's, Steak n Shake, Cracker Barrel and Perkins.

  • @ Not - That doesn't apply to us. We're in Hawaii... Lol. There aren't major highways here.

@ Lek - Never been there. Is it good?

  • Hoping to find a nicer sit down restaurant, think Olive Garden, Zios, a steak house, sea food, etc. Anything a long those lines. Don't want take out for Christmas, or any of that stuff.

  • Why not just cook? Roast beef, baked potatoes, salad and a veggie-so easy!

Or lasagna, pre-made raviolis, garlic bread and salad?
