How long after birth is it before you stop bleeding? adult content

I had my baby boy on the 10th and I was wondering how long you bleed after giving birth?

  • I stopped "bleeding" 2 days PP. However...I spotted for 6 weeks PP. It's differnet for everyone...and I had a c-section.

  • It's fine and normal to bleed up to 6 weeks. And having an epidural or not does NOT make a difference - I had 3 without and 2 with and I bled for 5 weeks with every single one.
