  • I love my dogs but there is something about my pet rat that amazes me. I mean really, I'm at least 300 times larger than her and she has full and complete trust in me.

  • I love little critters... right now we have guinea pigs, but I've also had hedgehogs, rats, mice... I love little fuzzies!

I like dogs as well, but I don't see us owning one anytime soon... neither my dh nor my son like dogs, and the financial aspect of caring for an animal that requires period vaccinations worries me. We have a tight budget, and I would never want to own an animal who I couldn't pay to take care of. The guinea pigs are bad enough when they need to see the vet, and they don't need innoculations!

  • Dogs have always been my favorite. Cats are up on the counters and into where your food is too much for me, at least what I've seen at friends houses. I just prefer dogs.
