Is anyone else driven to the point of insanity by your kids? Just feel better telling yourself that one day they will be gone to college!

Please tell me it is not just me! Am I a terrible mother or what? Please just one bathroom visit by myself! If you want to fight with your brother we are taking bet on who will win! Who ever loses does the dishes black eye and all.....ok maybe i took it a little too far but aaaaaaagggggghhhhh!

  • Going off to college doesn't help unless you also move and don't leave a forwarding address.

  • Set some boundaries.
No, I'm not driven to insanity by my kids. Actually, I am really gonna miss my son when he leaves. I may have to go with him!!

  • Mine are still really little and do not fight each other. I hope they continue this pattern. Raising of the voice is not allowed in our house either. I do get frustrated when 2 kids + dh are all talking at once at me. I guess they figure I can hear all of them, you know with my 3 sets of ears?

  • Yep, it does matter what I say lately he argues, whines or cries. He was so bad yesterday I had to put him in the bathroom with books while I showered he could not be left alone.

  • ive been to the point where i wanted to just scream, ive been to the point where i had to walk away, ive been to the point where ive bribed him to be quiet for one hour while i sit down and read a book just to be alone without leaving his sight.....its hard enough raising a child but raising 3 special needs children is something you should get an award for......
