Is this hypocritical?

womens-only gyms are perfectly acceptable

mens-only gyms would not be?

Woman can still check ya out and make you feel uncomfortable.

  • I don't care if men want to have their own gym. It is hypocritical to say its ok for women and not men.

  • It doesn't bother me a bit. If the guys want to have their own little gym where they can grunt and sweat and slap each other on the ass, I am perfectly fine with it.

  • I don't have a problem with either. I think a men's only OR women's only gym is perfectly fine. Of course I don't go around finding discrimination in everything either.

  • I feel a lot more uncomfortable when men check me out than when women check me out. But, that's just me personally. And, i would rather be naked in front of a bunch of women, lesbians or not, then be naked in front of a bunch of men....easily.

  • I don't care if they have men's only gyms - I don't see it as hypocritical. Maybe if there were more obvious female pervs there would be a greater need for men's only gyms.

  • As long as there is a co-ed gym, I'll be happy! Frankly no matter who is checking me out, I'll take it as a compliment. lol I'll be doing some looking myself.

But I though there were men only gyms already. Is there any background on this question?

  • It doesn't bother me either way. I've always gone to a gym on post or a civilian gym that was for men and women.
