  • Ornaments and candy canes that are individually wrapped. I've seen trees with cookies on them and my thought is always with the germ factor, I don't want to eat a cookie that has been decorating a tree, and I wouldn't want my kids to either.

  • Mostly hand made ornaments from the kids. My oldest is 15, and has made at least 25 ornaments. My younger 2 have made many as well. I have a ton of photo ornaments and a lot of other crafty looking things. My MIL made a great garland. I really love my tree.

  • We only have ornaments and lights this year. In past years we have strung popcorn and cranberries or added candy canes. This year we did not have time with everything going on.

I still love my tree because all the ornaments mean something special to us.

  • Meaningful ornaments, e.g. things my kids have made or "Baby's 1st Christmas" or things I received as a child.

  • Well it is decorated according to my husband with his ornaments. WE all make fun of him. But he loves it and thinks Christmas is all about him. LOL. What ever. I do not put candy canes on there because no one ever eats them then they get all yucky. So we ended those a few years ago.
