  • It probably is, yes. All you can do is try. And if it is too late, just make the best of it, you'll do fine.

  • I have no idea...but why did you wait so late?

  • I would think so. Our church was delivering presents yesterday after church. You can try though, all they can do is say no. Good luck,

  • All you can do is ask. We have Catholic Social Services here, maybe there is one in your city?
Can you ask your family for a little help?

  • We had a year like that when my son was 4. Do you attend a church? Maybe you could mention that you need just a few things. How about school? Sometimes just making mention to the right person does the trick. Maybe a neighbor who doesn't have children? You don't need a lot, I did some shopping at the dollar store. Good luck, and I wish I could help.

  • I would call Catholic Charities, Red Cross and your local churches (if you attend a church, call there first). I hope this works out for you and I hope things are easier for you in 2011.

  • I wouldn't think so, not everyone can get to a place the same day.
